Known for his ability to blend acoustic with electronic production, Prospect Lux (Michael Spivack) absorbed the micro-cultures that surrounded him as he grew up New York. These influences would create a foundation of open thought and aid in his eclectic musical palette. “I began to realize this calling as something holy and essential to my being and that nothing else mattered more,” explains Spivack. “It’s made me strive to be one of the artists contributing to the forward movement of the art form.”

I wonder what the world looks like through your eyes/ I wonder what it feels like through your heart

With a new EP in the works for early next year, Spivack brings us his new single, Feel What I Feel. “I’ve been thinking about it/ Why I have to prove I’m so strong/ Fighting against you, my lover/ Like it matters who’s right or who’s wrong” he begins singing to the driving bass line before an outpour of emotive keys and lush notes enter. Surrounded by a nostalgic ambiance of cascading synths and a color shifting glow of warmth, Spivack wishes to understand his lover and cast aside all aspersions.

Listen to Feel What I Feel here and look out for Prospect Lux’s new EP.
