I’ve been on the edge of my seat awaiting the release of LeMarquis’ new Mindtrick EP since the dude dropped his infectious pop tune Radar about a month ago. Thankfully, today I am finally able to rest easy as the full EP has finally found my ears. The French nu-disco powerhouse uses the collection to stretch himself as an artist, experimenting with pop, rock, disco, and even future bass throughout the work. Standouts for me include the heavy hitting Lose Control with its catchy guitar groove, and Feel That with its soaring vocal hook that makes me want to boogie the night away.
