Brother. Slows Things Down On New LP Single EZ

Brother. Slows Things Down On New LP Single “EZ”

Provo-based indie rock outfit Brother. are set to release their forthcoming album, ‘ VOL. III’, and now share the fifth single, EZ.

Inspired by a year of uncertainty and despair, Brother. slows down and takes a deep breath with vintage synths and a dose of honesty. On the single, vocalist Chuck Emery offered:

“This song “EZ” was inspired by the feeling of solitary life due to the 2020 pandemic. I felt like my whole world was ending. All of our plans for touring, releases, and our goals were halted. I had worked so hard on setting it all up and all of it was cancelled. The uncertainty of what the future held threw me into a deep depression with intense anxiety and panic attacks. After months of struggle, I realized the best thing for me was to slow down and take it easy. That said, this song was written in my home studio. I wanted to write and record it by myself to really embody that feeling of being/feeling alone.”
