SMHERTZ (Giuseppe Caiazzo) is a UK-based electronic artist and the founder of Silence+OtherSounds Music record label, where they push eccentric sound-design and academic oddities. His latest single is II Coraggio and the first from his forthcoming EP, Quiescent Period.
On II Coraggio, SMHERTZ combines his unconventional approach to creating sounds by blending found sounds, organic textures, synthesized voices and old school rhythms. Intergalactic wires cross between sublime brass while futuristic elements croon to the eerie ring of maidens lost amongst the intoxicated stars.
