Sean Walker and Andrew Grant – previously from the bands Movement and The Tapes respectively – are the new duo behind Sydney-based breathe.. Having both felt frustrated by the major label system, they decided to approach this project as entirely DIY. All art, producing, mixing, photography, and even the just-released video for their debut single Are You All Good? was done by the two.
Are You All Good? is a moody affair as it croons from the shadows, saturated with a sultry touch. Notes roll and pulse between dual vocals with a minimal backdrop that gives it a cinematic feeling. There’s a mysterious trait behind it that pulls you in with a smoky tease and it’s delicious. Inspired by having a friend there for you during tough times, the self-directed video features two friends cruising. Watch it right here.
